Learn poker with your friends

Learn Texas Hold’em together at a private browser table. Chips are free game points, so you can try the controls and talk through hands without spending money.

How it works in 3 steps

  1. Try a practice hand. Open Quick Play to start with computer opponents when no other players are available. Follow the check, call, raise and fold controls, and look at the hand result after each deal.
  2. Learn the board. You receive two private cards. The table deals three shared cards on the flop, one on the turn and one on the river. Make the best five-card hand from any of those seven cards.
  3. Invite a patient group. Create a private table, share its invitation and choose a longer turn timer in Table settings. Discuss decisions after the hand, when revealing private cards cannot affect the action.

A useful table tip

Check costs no chips when nobody has bet. Call matches the current bet, raise increases it, and fold gives up your chance to win this pot. You can wait for the next hand after folding.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to memorize every hand first?

Keep the hand rankings guide open while you learn. Start by recognizing pairs, straights and flushes, then compare the five cards shown at the end of a hand.

Can we play slowly while learning?

Yes. The host can choose a longer turn timer and turn off automatic dealing in Table settings, then deal when the group is ready.

Can I learn alone before inviting friends?

Yes. Quick Play fills available seats with bots so you can play when friends are offline. Bots are computer opponents, and their choices are not poker advice.

Can we play for money or prizes?

Play money only: no real money, no prizes, no cash-out.
