PLAY-MONEY POKER GUIDE

Play poker with friends and bots

Your group does not have to fill nine seats to play. Start with a friend and add computer players to spare seats, or practice while you wait for the first invitation to be opened.

Create a table

Play money only: no real money, no prizes, no cash-out.

How it works in 3 steps

  1. Start a friends table. Create a private table with a display name. Send the invitation before adding bots so friends know where to join.
  2. Fill spare seats. The host can add computer players from the table controls. Leave a seat for the next friend, or remove a bot between hands when someone arrives.
  3. Adjust the mix. Try different bot personalities: bold Moxie, steady players, cautious players, tricky opponents, and loose callers offer different decisions. Use hand history to review what happened.

A useful table tip

Bots are practice partners, not coaching software. Treat their decisions as examples to think about rather than advice, and expect friends to play differently.
