PLAY-MONEY POKER GUIDE

Create a private poker room online

Use an unlisted table when you want to play with your own group. A room link is an invitation anyone holding it can open, so share it only with the people you want at the table.

Create a table

Play money only: no real money, no prizes, no cash-out.

How it works in 3 steps

  1. Keep the room unlisted. Choose Private under Room access when creating the game. An unlisted room is absent from the public lobby, but is still accessible by its invitation or code.
  2. Invite your group. Send the room link in your group chat. Each player uses their own browser so private cards stay private. Guests can watch when all seats are occupied.
  3. Lock after arrival. Once everyone is seated, the host can lock the room. Unlock it before inviting another guest. A lock is an access control, not a substitute for keeping the invitation private.

A useful table tip

Invite previews may show an unlocked room’s host name and seat count. Use a display name you are comfortable sharing; locked rooms have generic previews.

Frequently asked questions

Is unlisted the same as locked?

No. Unlisted means the table is absent from the open-tables list. Locked prevents new guests from joining until the host unlocks it.

Can we return to the same room?

Keep the room link and use the same browser to restore your seat. Recent tables are saved in that browser. Inactive rooms eventually expire.

Can people see my cards through the link?

Other players see community cards and cards revealed at showdown, not your private hole cards during play. Avoid screen sharing your poker tab.

Can we play for money or prizes?

Play money only: no real money, no prizes, no cash-out.
