PLAY-MONEY POKER GUIDE

Play heads-up poker online with a friend

You only need one friend for a poker game. A heads-up table gives both players a decision almost every hand and plenty of practice playing from the blinds.

Create a table

Play money only: no real money, no prizes, no cash-out.

How it works in 3 steps

  1. Create a two-player game. Open the lobby, enter your name, and create a table. Choose starting chips and blinds that give you room to play several hands.
  2. Invite one friend. Send the table link directly to your opponent. Leave public listing off, and do not add bots if you want to keep the game heads-up.
  3. Play and swap positions. The host starts the hand. Heads-up, the dealer posts the small blind and acts first before the flop; the big blind acts first after the flop.

A useful table tip

Position changes every hand. Notice how acting last after the flop changes what you learn from your opponent’s checks and bets.
